A huge cast and orchestra perform Verdi’s famous music in a new production featuring fireworks of the vocal and exploding kind, colorful costumes and local surf life savers parading past you on the sand.

This evening make your way to Los Angeles or San Francisco International Airports for Air New Zealand flight to Auckland and connecting flight to Coolangatta.

Day 2: Cross International Date Line
During your flight, you will cross the International Date Line.

Day 3: Coolangatta
On arrival at Coolangatta Airport, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation where you will spend the following three nights. The remainder of your day is free to relax and explore.

Day 4-5: Coolangatta
Experience Australia's Gold Coast at your leisure. On one evening, experience Aida on the Beach. Day 6: Coolangatta to Lamington National Park
Transfer from your accommodation to O'Reillys Rainforest Resort, a true nature-lovers paradise. The Resort enjoys cool mountain air and spectacular views where guests can immerse themselves in nature, relax and enjoy the rainforests and spectacular natural setting

Day 7-8: Lamington National Park
O'Reilly's is famous for its Tree Top Walk which offers visitors a close up view of the rainforest canopy and its wildlife. Explore on your own or take advantage of the guided Discovery Program. The Discovery Program includes guided walks, four wheel drive bus trips, nocturnal walks and glow worm walks, flying fox rides, slide shows and much more. Walk through lush rainforests, past waterfalls, under tree gardens of ferns and orchids, and into the unspoilt world that is yours to explore. At the end of a busy day exploring, pamper yourself at O'Reilly's Lost World Spa, a haven for rejuvenation and relaxation.

Day 9: Lamington National Park - Sydney
Transfer to Coolangatta Airport for your flight to Sydney. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel where you will spend the next four nights.

Day 10: Wine Tour
Relax and enjoy some fabulous food and wine in Australia's oldest wine growing region, the Hunter Valley. Located just two hours north of Sydney, the Hunter combines world renowned wines, gourmet produce and stunning countryside. The focus today is on boutique wineries where the passion of the wine makers is obvious. The flexible itinerary gives you access to a range of excellent wineries and the opportunity to meet the wine makers. Also take a behind-the-scenes tour at one of the wineries, then enjoy a gourmet lunch at one of the Hunter's best restaurants.

Day 11: Sydney
Absorb a 360 degree panorama of Sydney as you journey to the summit on the original BridgeClimb experience. Like an exposed spine, the outer rim delivers you to the peak, as the sky remains just beyond your outstretched fingertips.

Day 12: Sydney
Discover the Sydney Opera House on a tour during the day and this evening, attend an Opera performance of Two Weddings, One Bride. Gather for a fun night out at the Sydney Opera House and let the sumptuous costumes, pretty sets and joyful melodies take you all the way to French Morocco.

Day 13: Depart Sydney
After breakfast, you will be met and transferred to Sydney International Airport for you return flight back to the US.
